간호사 : You can call downtown by first dialing 9. However, long distance or international calls are not allowed. 시내 전화는 9를 누르고 할 수 있지만, 장거리 혹은 국제 전화는 할 수 없습니다.

환　자 : When are the visiting hours? 면회 시간은 언제입니까?

간호사 : If your friends or your relatives want to see you, they can see you twice a day from noon to 2 o"clock and from 6 to 8 o"clock in the evening. 당신 친구나 친척이 면회를 원하면 정오부터 2시까지 저녁 6시부터 8시까지 오면 됩니다.

환　자 : Is there a smoking area? 흡연구역이 있습니까?

환　자 : Sure. 물론이지요.

간호사 : What do you do in Korea? 한국에서는 무엇을 하십니까?

환　자 : I"m an English teacher. 영어 선생님입니다.

간호사 : Do you have pain anywhere now? 지금 어디가 아프십니까?

환　자 : I have pain in my chest. 가슴이 아픕니다.

간호사 : Have you ever had any serious illness? 심하게 아프신 적 있습니까?

환　자 : No, I haven"t. This is the first time to visit a hospital. 아니오. 병원에는 처음입니다.
