Korean health officials confirmed the country’s 30^th new coronavirus (COVID-19) patient Monday.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) reported that the 30th confirmed patient is a 68-year old Korean female. She is the wife of the 29^th confirmed patient.

The 29^th coronavirus patient is an 82-year old Korean male who reportedly had no history of travelling abroad. The patient tested positive for the virus on Sunday and is being quarantined and treated at Seoul National University Hospital.

Health officials have not yet announced whether the coronavirus was transmitted from the 29^th to the 30^th patient in human-to-human transmission.
